A group of women with a passion for sewing and embroidery have collaborated with Adeela Suleman and Birmingham based Rangoli and textile artile Ranbir Kaur to make a tapestry.
The women have met and interpreted Suleman’s instructions, reflecting on a tradition practised by women in the Sindh province of Pakistan, where the artist lives and works.
In this collective action of making, they share stories and skills which are woven into the layers of fabric.
