Applique

- Hand applique is a method of hand stitching fabrics together to create dimensional designs on a background fabric in applique quilting. It can be very useful to learn how to hand applique as a quilter, thus this skill opens up more possibilities in your work. Collage

Mirror Embroidery

- One of my favourite types of embroidery and is very popular for use on clothing, hangings, tapestries, and domestic textiles. Learn the stitching techniques for attaching small round mirrors onto fabric plus traditional Indian embroidery stitches to enhance your work further.

Rangoli

- A popular folk art, that is made in homes during celebrations across India, these colourful designs are most popular during festivals. My rangoli workshops will teach you the authentic techniques using authentic techniques and traditional materials participants reflect on their own pieces and share their first experience of learning a new technique.

Beadwork

Fabric Painting

- This workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some previous experience. If you are interested in trying exciting arts and crafts this is for you. Garland Making

Rag Doll Making

- I’ve travelled the globe embracing different cultures, and I’ve used all these experiences in my ragdoll making workshops. They are ideal for first time doll makers as well as the more advanced.
- Rag doll making workshop will acquaint you with the art and culture of each state of India and cloth dolls have a basic simplicity and charm which sets them apart from other dolls. You learn about different types of Indian materials and braids. By the end of my workshop, you will walk away with a completed doll and learnt the skills to make many more.

Indian Block Painting

- Woodblock painting on textiles is the process of printing patterns on textiles usually on cotton. This process is repeated over and over again. Block painting is an ancient Indian printing technique wooden blocks are all hand-carved in the traditional Indian method.
